WILTED LETTUCE DRESSING 

Want an old time taste memory?  This dressing has been a family favorite for over 80 years.  OLD FASHIONED WILTED LETTUCE DRESSING is a perfect blend of ingredients reminiscent of the old-style country dressing many can remember being served at family get-togethers and Sunday dinners at Grandma's.  We used Grandma and Mom's recipe--but we made one important change.  Our version contains NO BACON GREASE.  We now use 'heart smart' canola oil in its place.  Fat grams have been reduced to 1g. per serving AND you can use it cold, just as you would any other salad dressing. This taste of times gone by is full of natural flavor and is great when the primal craving for salad greens strikes.

REAL McCOY MUSTARD SAUCE
"That's wonderful" is the most frequent comment we hear when people taste this sauce.  In the development stage for over a year, we tested and tasted until this sauce was perfect.  It's a blend of mustard, red wine vinegar, wine, garlic and spices.  Someone once said 'Devil Anse would have killed for this one' referring to the infamous Hatfield/McCoy feud on the West Virginia/Kentucky border.  Also a very versatile sauce, THE REAL McCOY MUSTARD SAUCE can be used: to marinate steaks, roast, chicken and pork - as a flavoring in potato salad, deviled eggs, cream cheese dip, etc., as a dipping sauce and on sandwiches.  TRY IT ON YOUR FAVORITE RECIPE.

ORANGE-BERRY BASIL SALAD DRESSING

Our NEW salad dressing is a fruity ,sassy, lite vinaigrette sure to be different from just about anything you've tasted before.  After 6 months in the development stage, we introduced ORANGE-BERRY BASIL SALAD DRESSING in Fall 2002.  The response was wonderful.  We used the juices from a apples, oranges, cranberries, lemons, raspberries and grapes to blend this delightful flavor.  A small amount of canola oil, onions & basil top off this low fat (1g per serving) salad dressing.

MASON-DIXON MIX'N GLAZE 
 A "finishing sauce" best describes MASON-DIXON MIX'N GLAZE.  When the chicken, roast, chops or stir-fry is finished, a glazing with this sauce adds all the right flavors.  Expect a zesty, tangy, sweet and sour taste with our honey-based glaze. Dipping hors d'oeuvres in MASON-DIXON MIX'N GLAZE is perhaps the most intriguing way to use this sauce.  It adds flavors you can't quite pick out-gives you something to think about.  However you choose to use MASON-DIXON MIX'N GLAZE you are sure to please the most discriminating palate.

PICKLING BRINE (All Purpose) “Pickles in a Minute”
Quick and easy ways you can make old time favorites. Slice the veggies, boil the PICKLING BRINE, pour it on hot and you’re done!!! KEEP REFRIGERATED. Makes a great FRESH BREAD & BUTTER PICKLE—here’s what you do: Slice cucumbers & onions very thin. Pack them in a jar tightly. Bring PICKLING BRINE to a rolling boil and fill jar. Cover tightly with a lid. Let cool and refrigerate. They will be ready in about 4 days. If you just can’t wait, try them in 2 days. Other ways to use this BRINE include: GREEN BEAN & CORN SALAD, SPICY CABBAGE SALAD and FRESH RELISH. THESE RECIPES ARE ON OUR RECIPE PAGE. You can create your own pickled salad by using any combination of veggies, such as squash, beets, cauliflower, brussels sprouts (suggest you cut them in half for better pickling), peppers, etc. ALWAYS ADD BOILING BRINE & ALWAYS KEEP REFRIGERATED. Our PICKLING BRINE (All Purpose) is available in individual bottles OR in a KIT that includes jars & lids, recipes and jar labels (so you can make a jar, label it and give a homemade gift to a special friend).
